Description
The Oxygen Type-S Irons redefines the game improvement iron set. Designed to be more forgiving and easier to hit, the Oxygen Type-S features a deep cavity with a low center of gravity, and a low back weight to increase moment of inertia and reduce face twist on miss hits. You will instantly notice better results in the accuracy of your iron play due to the fact that there is room for error at impact.
If you are considering the Oxygen Type S Irons, the Oxygen Type S Fairway Woods and Synchron Medic Hybrid Woods are a perfect complement.
Also available in a 6-PW option to suit your hybrid needs. Replace the 3, 4 and 5 iron with hybrid or fairway woods for golfers who have difficulty hitting the low lofted long irons. The Command Hybrids are a perfect addition to complete the hybrid set.

Write a ReviewHarry rated this product on 06/07/12 I have had a graphite set of these irons for several years and they are fantastic, forgiving clubs. Would'nt use anything else after owning these.
Joon K reviewed this product on 01/10/06 I've played with Oxygen Type S for about 6 months now. I got them with Aldila graphite shaft and Lampkin grip on closeout. After playing more than 20 rounds with this set, I can simply say this is a great set and they are certainly no worse than my previous set, Nike Pro Combo. Yes, on solid contact you get less "pure" feel but at the same time a lot of your mishits tend to look half decent thanks to the forgivness of the club. Another thing about this set is, I used to be very afraid of hitting 5-iron or longer but now I don't hesitate to pull out 4- and 5-irons from my back. 3-iron is a different story because I choose to carry a hybrid club :=) So if you are a hacker like me (~20 handicap) then I would highly recommend this set. I am in fact curious to see if Pinemeadow will come out with G5 clones. Thanks Pinemeadow and keep up the good work!
Curt reviewed this product on 01/07/06 I just received my Oxy irons, upgraded with tt lite shafts close to CS lite shafts in G2 and tour velvet grips. I did not believe the prior reviews, but I am a believer now, granted I am a 5 handicap, but I gained 15-20 yards per iron. The balance is not same as the G2s and thicker on the top line, but they feel great and the ball jumps off the club
J. Cole reviewed this product on 01/01/06 Purchased the 6-SW and added the 52* wedge as well. The ball flies off the face of these clubs like nothing I have ever hit. I am a hacker for the most part, but love to play. I think I will loving it more now.
Mel Arenas reviewed this product on 11/24/05 I now have my clubs almost a year. I've used the Ping G2's as borrowed clubs at a local course and loved them. However, was not willing to pay the premium for them. I've talked with a golf-tech at Pinemeadow and was willing to give the Oxygen's a try. After quickly receiving them, I noticed extremely close similarities with them with the G2's. Oxygen's are tad lighter and a feel more "solid" at impact. The G2's have a "softer" feel during the ball strike. However, accuracy, distance, and shot shaping were equal to the G2's. Other than the "notched" heel the originals have, you can't tell the difference. More importantly, the Oxygen's have a nice offset and are extremely long and forgiving... Highly recommended for all handicaps. Great service and products Pinemeadow...thanks!
