Daniel H. Johnson reviewed this product on 01/30/07 I order the Power Play hybrid irons not expecting much, but I was amazed at how well they hit and how easy they were to hit. The feel of these irons are like none other. They produce outstanding spin, and have knocked off 5 strokes a round for me. The best golf purchase I've ever made.
P L Stephenson reviewed this product on 12/30/06 Getting back into golf after many, mnay years I needed new clubs. Asked around, tried a few and then a friend suggested Pine Meadows (Thanks Brian),I checked out the web site read the comments, the prices and bought the PowerPlay 5000 Hybrid set and PW, SW, 1 & 2.(left-handed of course-{every one's born right handed, only the gifted overcome it]). Facts:easy ordering, excellent delivery, superb clubs, unbelievable prices. And about those comments; Not even god can hit a 1 iron-I am now a god. Horrendous slice of my youth-Gone. Distance of my youth-?youth? Clones, Knockoffs, Please people, these are Pine Meadows ("Bigger names Do Not equal Better"). Don't spread the word too much, We do want an edge! Thanks Pine Meadows! Looking (hoping) a matching putter is on it's way! P L
Chazman reviewed this product on 12/14/06 I have owned a full set of hybrid irons before, Links Solutions 2000 from Edwin Watts, sent them back because I didn't like the feel or performance from the short irons. I ordered a set of these (3-PW) these sceptical whether or not I would have the same experiences with the short irons. Not so! Not only were these clubs beautifully constructed, they all (short irons included) hit very well, easy swing gets the ball up and at the target every time, and at least 1 club longer then my regular irons, Ping G2s. Some others here stated that they had problems chipping with the short irons, not so with me, these clubs performed great, even better then regular irons, it was easier to control distance (they didn't run as far) and they swung better through heavy grass. For $175. for a set of 3-9 irons, this is the best deal in golf. If the performance keeps up, the 1, 2, and SW will be on order soon.
T. Goulden reviewed this product on 11/11/06 I bought this set (1 - SW) back in Aug. I received the clubs exactly when promised and I had them delivered to the hotel I was staying at while on a golf vacation. Well done Pinemeadow! My brother said; "You got a 1 iron - Not even God can hit a 1 iron". I gotta tell you, I can hit a 1iron with these clubs. I make a point of telling people that I just hit a 1 iron when I nail one straight down the middle. I used to struggle with my long irons. Anything longer than a 6, I would use a 7 wood, 5 wood or 3 wood. Now I use every club in my bag. If you struggle with irons, these are the clubs for you. I love them. I haven't had the round of my life yet (I think that's because I'm not used to playing from the fairway yet...lol), but I have tied my low round a couple times (79). Before I decided to get these, I was toying with the idea of spending the big bucks on the big name irons to see if that would help. Am I aver glad I went this way instead. These clubs rock!
Greg M reviewed this product on 10/25/06 I bought the set back in July and have started to use them more often when going out. I only get out to the course once or twice a month but have started to see a difference in my accuracy. I used to mishit really bad with regular irons but that has happened a lot less with this new set. They won't eliminate all the bad things that regular irons produce, you still have to work with the clubs (and I don't have the time) to master them but I am more confident in using them then before. I still like woods but this is as close as I'm going to come without actually buying all woods, so I'm very pleased with the purchase!
