Steve rated this product on 06/02/11 I was looking for a set of clubs that would be easy on my back. I had considered these before, and when they went on a 50% off sale on the Pre-owned section, I jumped at them. I had them almost 5 weeks before hitting a ball with them due to a back injury. When I finally got to play a round with them, they worked as promised. They swing easy, look great, and put the ball right where it was supposed to be when I made good contact. Because of my back I topped several shots but knew it even before I looked up to check the shot (operator error). I was only using arms with very little body rotation. With these I can only expect go be much better when my I can go back to a decent swing. I have bought from Pinemeadow before and will again. Customer Service is top notch!
Charles rated this product on 05/30/11 I had the opportunity to take my new irons to the driving range. Keep in mind I have not hit a golf ball in 5+ years, I have taken lessons and hacked on some muni courses. Incredible results! These irons are very forgiving and respond well to adjustments made. My 9-7 irons were great. No frustrating tops, slices, or hooks. My 6-5 were mixed results. My 3 and 4 are going to need some work but I don't fault the irons for that.
Denny S. rated this product on 05/27/11 I have been playing my Hybrid Irons since February. I liked them at first, and the more I play them the more I like them. Today I teed off on the short 100 yd 18th with my Pinemeadow Hybrid 9 iron. I got my first hole in one. What a way to start the memorial Day weekend. Thanks Guys!!
Kirk - Springville, Utah rated this product on 05/16/11 I have fibromyalgia which has caused me some grief with my swing and has made it difficult to just hang on to the club during the swing. I was looking for something that would help give me better control and a bit more distance. I ordered my set of PRE Progressive Hybrids with the Lamkin Crossline Oversized grips. What a difference! I love them! My 3 iron (which would never come out of my bag before) is now my favorite club. I have been more consistent in making good contact with the ball. What used to be a minor slice with the low irons has turned into a slight draw. I think some of that change can be attributed to the oversize grips. The way the clubs are weighted seems to be helpful in staying under the ball (less likely to top it). With the graphite shafts contact with the ball is smooth and the club head design seems very forgiving. As far as distance goes, I've dropped one club. I hit the 8 iron about the same (or maybe a little longer) than the 7 iron from my previous set. Exactly what I was looking for. After hitting these new Irons I had to get the grips replaced on my woods with the Lamkin Crossline Oversized. For anyone that has any trouble with pain or weakness in their hands, these grips make it much much easier to hang on to and control the club!
Charles rated this product on 04/29/11 Just received my hybrid set two days ago. Upon unpacking in the garage both my neighbors came over to check them off. (They are retired scratch golfers) They praised the quality and when I told them the price they were floored. One actually purchased a set for his grandson online after our discussion. I will post part 2 after some visits to the range. Aaron actually called to tell me he was going to select a different shipping option to save money, receive the set in the same time frame, and then credited my account. Awesome customer service.
