Evan rated this product on 09/07/14 Well, I've played a whole season and I can honestly say that I'm really happy with these clubs. I have NEVER been able to hit the longer irons like I can with these! Even the 3 and 4 irons hit amazingly smooth and easy. On a couple of the tight fairways on my neighborhood course, I've started hitting my 3 iron instead of my driver or 3 wood because I know it will go straight and far. I might not get driver distance, but I don't hit trees or houses, and sometimes that's more important! Every club in the set has held up well and they all have a wonderful feel when hit well. Even mis-hits don't send a stinging shock through the club like my old set did. I'm really happy with this set!

Kasey Arrowsmith rated this product on 02/11/14 I bought these clubs in the summer of 2012 and have played close to 40 rounds with them. The irons are very easy to hit and play as advertised but recently I have been having issues with them. The problems started when the head of my eight iron came off the shaft during one of my recent rounds and during my most recent round the head of my six iron literally broke off the shaft leaving a small piece of the shaft in the club head (grapite shafts). I've dealt with Pinemeadow in the past and know that if I really pursued the issue, they would make it right, I just don't want to be without clubs for an extended period of time. Even though I had issues with two of the clubs, I am most likely going to buy a new set from Pinemeadow in the very near future and that should speak volumes for their customer service.

Kurtis rated this product on 01/17/14 Pretty good clubs so far. When it come to performance, they're just as good as any other club I've used. For the price, $75, these were a steal and a half. However, it gets 4 stars due to the workmanship being off on the grips. My 6, 8, and few other irons had the grips put on quite sloppy. They don't line up straight. Good thing I don't really need these to help me line my clubs up properly. I got the regular flex minus 1/2 as I'm 5'7. Overall, the price made this a good deal.

Evan rated this product on 01/17/14 The first thing I will mention about these clubs is that the whole set is mirror finish (aside from the face, of course)with a satin cast finish in the cavity. I was actually happy to see that because I wasn't crazy about the satin finish on the entire club, but that wasn't why I was buying them, so I was going to live with it. We still have some snow on the ground here, but I was able to hit some balls in the field behind my house and the clubs feel very good. I had an old set of Dunlop Surpass irons and they weren't a true cavity back like these. They had a recess, but not an actual cavity extending to the bottom of the club like these, so I'm hoping that will translate into more forgiveness. I knew I definitely needed a better set of irons than the ones I had, and these looked exactly like what I wanted, but I think the biggest improvement is going to come from the clubs being fitted to me. I'm 6'3", and my off-the-shelf Dunlops felt like junior clubs; I had to almost crouch to play them. With the length and stiffness options available, it now feels like I'm holding and swinging a club that actually fits me, which is great. I got these on sale for $75 shipped, so how could I possibly go wrong?? I'll check back in the spring after I've played a few rounds and give a follow-up...

Dee rated this product on 12/05/13 Follow up to my brief review I wrote back in April - Had these clubs about 7 months now and played them about 20 to 25 times. I play a lot of golf and I have three other sets of irons (AP1s, RAZR X Forged, and TM R9s), so I can feel pretty confident with my evaluation. FEEL - surprisingly good, almost a forged feel and the responsiveness is fairly crisp. I give it an "8". CONTROL - Once again, this is a pleasant surprise. Not much difference between these and my AP1s. I give this a "8". DISTANCE - This is where clone clubs usually fall short and this set is about what I expected. Not on par with my other sets, but 155 yards for a 7 iron is not bad. Here, I give it a "5". FORGIVENESS - Holy Smoke! These are almost on par with my Uncles's Cally X-20s,(which I consider one of the most forgiving irons ever made). Takes a really bad swing to mishit these. I don't give out 10s very often, but this one almost made it. Howabout "9.5". QUALITY - Not too bad, but I saw a lot more blemishes and imperfections that I am used to on irons. Definitely not Walmart specials, but they fall a little short of my other sets. Once again a "5". Overall, I gave these a "7.1" out of 10. Very good value especially if you got them on sale like I did. For a person on a budget, it's hard to beat these. Hope this helps somebody with their purchase.
