Charlie rated this product on 11/08/13 This iron set now includes the 3 and 4 irons. For a beginner or high-handicap player, these are a good start. The weighting seems to push the COG down lower, and with a bigger sweet spot versus less expensive "starter" sets, these seem more forgiving. When my swing speed wasn't up to snuff, the irons still managed to launch the ball. The lofts are also higher than typical irons, or on the high side of typical irons which should help out in the rough. The PW is actually marked as a "10" iron, and is the same length as the PW. I found both distances to be about the same but with the PW/10 launching at a higher trajectory. I recommend adding the Pre Sand Wedge which is sold separately.
Daryl rated this product on 04/07/13 First of all, these were my first real set of irons when I got into golf last year. For the money, a beginner can't go wrong with these....Even though I have since moved to a name brand set, I feel that the PREs were just as good and may have been better suited for my game. I wont give no B.S. about increasing your distance by 50 yards, but I will say thay are just good solid clubs for a mid to high handicapper.
Anthony rated this product on 03/10/13 I purchased the PRE complete set back in January. I must say I absolutely LOVE these irons they are great. I'm looking to upgrade my irons to hopefully lower my score I'm just undecided.
Jon rated this product on 03/10/13 Excelent clubs for playability, distance and control, the price is un-beatable. I saw the comments about the 3+4 irons? Keep the 3 an 4, if you can not hit them, then add some hybrids to assist. But keep them as the set is please.
ALton rated this product on 08/11/12 These clubs are sexy and easy to hit. Considering ordering the 3 & 4 iron now that they are availible.
