Chris rated this product on 07/31/08 My handicap is 18, a bogey golfer. I have been playing Cleveland TA5's for the last 3 seasons, but only playing 2-3 rounds a month. This year I played 15 rounds in June with my TA5's. I have now played about 10 rounds with the PM ZR-1's. I am hitting all of them longer than the TA5's. I used to hit my 8 iron 145-150yards, and this afternoon I didn't even think about pulling out my ZR-1 8 iron on a 161 yard par 3. Stuck the green pin-high. The ZR-1's are more forgiving and longer than my TA5's were, I can't imagine getting a better club for this price. Not to mention I got my clubs quickly and had no issues. Thanks Pinemeadow!
Jorge Riguero rated this product on 07/22/08 I have played with my ZR1s only twice but like them much better than my Callaway x-20s already. They have a better feel at impact, are lighter and the ball flight is straighter. Never again will I pay top $$ for brand names, it's such a waste of my money!! Anyone want to buy a set of X-20s? I have no use for them any longer.
Rob reviewed this product on 07/19/08 A big plus for you - as an overseas buyer, you are almost the only USA golf company that gives a reasonable idea of shipping costs. Its almost worth paying the extra you charge for your clubs.
Scott rated this product on 06/24/08 I had been looking to purchase new irons for a while and finally decided to go with Pinemeadows. I played a round this past weekend and saw a marked improvement over my old clubs. I still had off-hits because I'm a very high handicap player... but not as many off-hits as I used to endure. You get a lot more for your money vs. the big name brands... and they seem to play just as well. Oh, and the customer service at pinemeadows was EXCELLENT. Thanks Clark, for helping me find the clubs I needed.
Greg rated this product on 06/01/08 Before I get to the clubs I would like to be another customer who aknowledges the excellent customer service. My order actually started off with a different series of irons, but I had my concerns and with no hesitation they put my order on hold and gave me suggestions as to what may best suit me. After a day of thought and after talking with Clark I decided to go to the ZR1 set with adjustments to my lay angle they still ended up shipping the clubs in two days! After a couple of times at the range I can say with certainty that I've added yardage, but more importantly these keep my stray shots from going so astray!! I've been a lot more consistant with getting the ball to where I'm aiming. The extra large "sweet spot" keeps the ball traveling straight even if I hit it off the toe (a problem I have). Love these clubs and very impressed with the company overall. I'm going to be ordering more from them.
