Roger rated this product on 04/22/10 This may be lengthy, but I will try to condense as much as possible. Much praise has been attributed to the ZR1 irons and Pinemeadow in general and I agree with the vast majority of it. With that said I will focus only on the elements that caused me to give 3 stars vs. 5. After receiving my order (knowing that I paid an extra $4 ea. for upgraded Lamkin grips) I was invited to comment on the product/service. I was and am happy with the order, but I contacted Pinemeadow to state that I felt it was unfair of them not provide an allowance (reducing the $4 upcharge to perhaps $1 or $2 - since the regular grips were not being installed and they would have been included at no extra cost). I was not asking for a refund (even though I was rudely accused of doing so), merely giving them my opinion. The rudeness cost them 1 star, even though the rudeness was eventually apologized for. Here is their reasoning: When ordering a glass of water at a restaurant = No Charge Ordering a Pinemeadow grip = No Charge Ordering a soda, beer or ice tea at a restaurant = Cost of beverage Ordering a upgraded grip on our site = Cost of Grip Both water and our Pinemeadow grips have a value (cost) but we offer them to you for free as part of the meal or the set. Here is my reasoning: This is a much better way to explain this situation (and far more accurate of a comparison) using your example: When ordering a small soda at a restaurant you pay $1.00 When ordering a medium soda you pay $1.50, but you never had the small soda available to you (i.e. a Pinemeadow grip) But if your order at the restaurant includes a small soda (i.e. a Pinemeadow grip) - (something you're considering free), but you desire a medium, you pay only the $.50 difference. You don't pay the entire $1.50 extra. Because if you did you would get the small soda and the medium soda, not just the medium soda. In the example of the grip, it would become ridiculous to include the grip not being used (the Pinemeadow). In the case of the soda, it would be ridiculous to include both sodas because all you wanted was one soda - just as you would want only one grip. That's the reason for the second star being deducted. Their competitors' prices are about $.50 to $.75 under the $4 charge for the very same grip. While a company is free to charge what they like, this policy seems to be at odds with Pinemeadow's pricing in general (which I find attractive) and that is all I was trying to say. If you agree with my position I hope you will contact Pinemeadow and tell them so, perhaps they will change their thinking. I am sorry for the length of this post, but it was difficult to condense it any more than this.
Justin rated this product on 04/19/10 Dirt cheap and they're freaking awesome. The value Pinemeadow gives is ridiculous.
Luis reviewed this product on 03/25/10 I would definitely buy these clubs if the back cavity looked a little cooler. It just looks so boring. Just my opinion, and maybe they look better in real life.

Tal rated this product on 11/17/09 Last year I bought a new driver from Pinemeadow. I have had such good results that this year I decided to replace my tired old irons. After a lot of looking, I decided to get the ZR1 irons. I received them yesterday and couldn't wait to try them. So I went out at lunch today and hit a few in the cold. All I can say is WOW. After just a few hits, I knew I made a good decision. They hit so sweet. Can't wait for some good weather to play a full round. Thanks for the great service and great clubs.
