Description
The Oxygen Type S Fairway Woods are a great match to the Oxygen Ti Driver. They are constructed out of durable stainless steel and the club heads also feature a lower profile for lower center of gravity.
The advantage of the lower profile face allows you to hit ball better out of any type of lie. You don't have to worry about the club head getting caught in the grass. By moving the center of gravity to the bottom of the club it helps you get the ball up too for higher launch on your fairway woods without having to sacrifice distance. If you are looking for an easy to hit fairway wood these are a good choice.

I expected to hear a bit of a pingy sound and was surprised by the solid *THWACK* off the tee. Ball flight was a thing of beauty and it landed over 270 yrds away. With this in my bag I am tempted to put away my steel head III driver. Face is slightly closed at set up which was a little undesireable for me, but i cannot argue with results. I have drawn a couple OB due to me lining up in my regular stance to avoid the slice. I did receive the wrong headcover (5 wood) and was tempted to send it back, but decided to keep it and see if I might just get a 5 wood to accompany my 3 wood. Needless to say I think I may soon be purchasing a 5 wood and a 3 wood headcover. Thanks for an Amazing wood Pine Meadow.

Paul R. - Fremont CA reviewed this product on 09/29/05 Ordered the Oxygen 5 Wood a few months back. I am totally pleased with this club. It drives straight and far off the tee and off the fairway. Has a very satisfying "thunk" when it hits the ball, which flies off the clubhead. A great club!
